: (63 TJ)*(1E15 Joules)*(1 Mt)/(1 TJ)/(4.184E15 Joules) = 15.057 Mt : Conversions: 1E15 = Tera(whatever) : 1 Megaton (Mt) = 4.184 x 10^15 Joules : Following these conversions and canceling out the units (which if in doubt, : cancel units to arrive at the correct number!), you arrive at the answer : of 15.057 Megatons. That's roughly half of the expected yield of a HAVOK : Nuclear Warhead ( http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/HAVOK_Nuclear_Warhead ). Could this be the Fury nuke? The size seems to match at least. Plus, a Fury was used in a remarkably similar scene in First Strike where the Spartans destroyed a cruiser on Reach.
