: Not necessarily. Go back to the believe campaign for halo 3. It showed a : brute holding up MC's limp body. Nothing like that happened in the game. But we know a Covenant ship is going to be taken out, based on the shot in the TV spot of Noble 6 looking at it crumpled in flames over the horizon. But the the "We are ODST" trailer was kinda the same way, none of that happened in game.
