This is going to come down to tradeoffs, tastes and preferences. Those who see a more positive value stemming from the McFarlane will buy McFarlane. They may be attracted by the lower cost, size, availability, significant variety and scale vehicles. With the PlayArts figures, those who value a more premium option will likely get figures that are larger, well-articulated both functionally and aesthetically, with more consistent paint quality, presumably more acccessories per figure will find value in these things. The question is, what factors do you value more? Army builders will find PlayArts to be a cost and space prohibitive option. But those who focus on a core group and want the best figure possible will likely skew towards PlayArts. I'll unfortunately be going after both lines.
