Agree 100%. Chief is an exception. Being the Chief, he obviously gets the first and best armor allotment so he's always in the newest and bestest duds. I'm fine with that.

But Nylund had it right talking about the S-II team on reach plugging in non-standard equipment as they went along, and I'm glad to see this included. As specialized as Spartans are, and as experimental as their technology is, and with how often they're trapped far away from supply lines, I can see a lot of non-regulation (and regulation) installs popping up. It is very good to see these things in Reach.

...and can I have Jorge as my character model? Have him hunched all you want, being an S-II is badass.
