Yeah. I never really noticed how cheaply the video was until now. Still a decent song. Better than most of the crap that passes for Top 40 music these days. You know pop has gone down the tubes when the charts are dominated by The Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, and Kesha (I refuse to spell her name with that insufferable dollar sign). And for all the flak 80s fashion gets, it's still better than a lot of contemporary fashion. From what I remember as a kid in the 80s, your regular folks usually at least tried to look like snazzy dressers. Now it's all greasy moptops and sagging jeans. I found the latter tacky back in high school in the late 90s when it was getting popular, and it's still tacky today. Of course, then you have celebs and pop acts. I thought the Bangles and Simple Minds dressed better 25 years ago than how your typical pop act or emo band dress now.
