Bingo! Thanks for pinging this question back to the Mothership, LW. And thanks for Dave for enlightening us. :)

Still curious about the type that makes up the actual "REACH" logotype (see OP)... It could very well be custom, but I think they've used it enough in different texts that it's likely to be an actual typeface.
