In Response To: Weekly update is live (Lekku) Seeing as Bungie don't seem to know what the flair is going to be yet, I see no harm in us laying down a few suggestions! :) We know it's probably not going to be as grand as a full suit of armour, but perhaps unique headpieces would be distinctive enough? I suggested (on Twitter to @bungietweets) that perhaps the Arbiter's helmet would be a cool extra, or maybe an Honour Guard or Councillor helmet. I'm not sure about you guys, but I'd definitely the flair to take the form of a visual nod to the Halo 2 saga/fiction. Something that links to that game (that is to say, a fiction-linked bonus, rather than a simple "generic" (not meant in a bad sense) bonus like flaming helmets) would be a logical tribute to the final end of the Halo 2 era. And yeah, I can't think of anything unique for the SPARTANS. Seeing as the Mk. VI has been the established "default" headpiece for over 5 years now, I'm not sure that bringing it back as a tribute (if it's not already in the game) would make for an interesting or distinctive flair, personally.
