Update for those of you following the cause.

1. Once again, Seraph, What you are doing is wonderful. I can't thank you enough.
2. Thanks to the rest of the hbo fam for your support. We have received a lot of great tips and support from many of you. I promise, Aimee is seeing all of it.
3. For those of you not following me online, today we get very important news and updates from the neurosurgeon. We appreciate any and all finger-crossings, prayers, or whatever else you see fit as appropriate support.

Aimee is in such great spirits right now, and doing better every day. Hope to get into occupational/speech therapy sessions soon. We'll have to look into that after today's appointment.

Do you know anyone who participated in clinical trials at all? We're going to talk to the doctor about it today, but I was looking for other people's experiences with these types of things. My only personal experience wasn't a good one. Doctor had poor follow-up and what appeared to be a hard time securing the funds for his project.

Also, can you recommend a good free .mov to .avi converter? the one I downloaded sucked and I have a couple of post-surgery videos that I want to convert/edit and upload to the blog.
