In Response To: Future of RVB (AssaultGodzilla)

: Anyone dissatisfied with the ending of Recreation and wanting more? I was.
: I'm not sure if any of this has been said before, but here's what I found
: out recently: There's gonna be a 3rd and final season in the
: Reconstruction series called 'Resolution' and is the follow-up to
: Recreation. It is currently unknown if Resolution will be the final season
: overall of Red vs Blue, but it will wrap up all of the events started in
: Reconstruction and Recreation.
Overall I thought Recreation was the weakest season of RvB. Reconstruction was great, but Recreation somewhat trivialized the events of the preceding season, and didn't give enough context to the central events and new characters (i.e. CT and the Elites, and what they were trying to accomplish). What RvB needs, overall, is some sort of resolution. None of the seasons provide it, but hopefully "Resolution" will. Red vs Blue doesn't need to end, but they've basically been on the same storyline since the first season. Hopefully Resolution will finish up the Freelancer storyline and the animation will be a fresh start.

: During the evening viewing of the first season of RvB Live, (May 1st 2009)
: Burnie announced that they were, in fact, going to air it on television.
: It has been revealed recently that RVB: Animated will air on Comedy
: Central and G4 in 2010 between April and July. The series was picked up
: for a total of 13 episodes and if the series does well, more seasons will
: likely be produced.
Seriously, this is absolutely crazy. The fact that Rooster Teeth is even allowed to sell its DVDs is amazing enough. RvB is popular enough to spawn half-a-dozen seasons and a few miniseries, Rooster Teeth expanded to other games for machinima and expanded their site to include Achievement Hunter, and now RvB gets its own cartoon, 13 episodes, on Comedy Central. Congrats to RT's great success!
