: I'm going to start keeping track of how many posts you make with the term HMD : in it and make a nice pie chart. :P lol, its a joke as much as anything else now, but I'll stick to it when its appropriate, ie, in-universe. :P I cannot unlearn what I know about starting from the Mig-29 and AH-64. :( The technology is about a decade older than me after all. I have to keep stressing that HUD, as in Heads-up Display is totally fine in relation to a video game or TV graphic interface. Just something the games industry pinched and adapted to their own use. The actual piece of equipment we see in real life, and of which I have a fair bit of real footage in the VHS archives, is differentiated by being just Head-Up Display.
