Fal was great

I loved Fal. He was easily the best Arbiter since Thel. The way he stood up to the prophet like that "The journey is a LIE!" was amazing. I paused it and watched that line again. I mean, he WAS the arbiter. He was the epitome of the Arbiter. He saw prominence in a time of extreme conflict within the Covenant. He had problems with the prophets (even Ripa did, if you pay attention to the cutscenes) that others would have been immediately killed for. He had extreme inner conflict and had to try to fight his way out of a rock and a hard place. Further, the combat was a great look into what the Halo Wars Arbiter combat would have looked like up close. I loved that. Fal was the nutshell Arbiter. Conflicted, hated, shamed, forced to take up impossible tasks and ultimately doomed. He is the best character I have seen outside of the games. And that counts all the book characters.
