: Here tharr be mini-rants!

: Let it be known that the episode was better than I thought it would be, and
: it had some interesting characters and told a pretty solid story in the
: time given to it. I'll need to watch it a few more times in its fullness
: before I can form a real opinion on it all-around, but so far, pretty
: positive. I've always been more interested in the alien races and culture
: and it's a treat to see a take on what's previously been skirted around
: in-universe.

: But there is one (maybe two) thing(s) that grate on me more than anything and
: I am desperate to know whether they were allowances in the creative
: liberties department or is actual "visual canon" --

: Motherfudgin' boobs on my motherfudgin' elites . There is not an emoticon
: zealous enough to portray my utter SADRAGEFACE.

: WHY? It doesn't make any sense . Few things irritate me more than slapping
: mammaries on female species just to show that they are female. There are
: plenty of other ways to get across femininity (and what is femininity
: anyway, especially when we're talking about an alien?) than that, and with
: Elites, and the whole four-jaws-of-death thing they have going on, among
: other things... no. I will not accept an ample bosom.

: I can even accept the "hair", to an extent, though it still grates
: on me. What purpose does it serve? Seems like it's just a stand-in for a
: headdress, and I can see where that would be interesting, but having these
: tendrils sprouting out of Han's head just looks off in the aesthetic. Like
: a Yautja and a Leet got it on and dark magicks were involved. Maybe the
: look will grow on me, maybe I'll always cringe at it. But that takes a far
: second to the dimensional quality going on in the upper chest area. No,
: Halo. Nooooo!

: Tell me it was a decision made, much like the "hidden" mandibles
: and possibly hair, to make Han more "sympathetic" and less
: "monstrous" and to get across her "femaleness" better.
: Tell me it is artistic license so that I may ignore it entirely and get on
: with my happy, boob-less leet life. You do realize this has only
: encouraged Rule 34 even more, right? Right?

: I'm going to go get my sackcloth and ashes now.

The female was a tad on the ugly side, but overall I see nothing wrong with the design choices they went with.

What does Bungie care if their stuff gets R34'd? They're a bunch of /b/tards anyway, lol :b
