Was a scary : few moments in messenger! : Say that was purely down to artistic license and she just might not hunt you : down. I think I see where she's coming from. The art generally looked great, but the female Elite (as scarab pointed out) is unimaginative and weak. It's embarrassing that it was decided that since they're female Elites that they should have hair and tits. Maybe I want my aliens ALIEN. The more that the Elites are humanized, the less I like them as a species. That said, the Japanese theme for the Elites worked in this situation and reminded me of Thel quite a bit from Cole Protocol. I'm going to be very annoyed if all the shorts have something that screams JAPAN in them. I understand the studios were Japanese, and I have nothing against Japanese culture... but there's a difference between subtle homages and flat out LOOK MOTHAFUCKAS IT'S GEISHA TIME. The graphic novel handled this really well in my opinion... in The Babysitter and now The Duel, it's blatant. I thought the action was great however! The general style was real cool. Gonna have to watch it again to get more from it.
