: 1) She was likely concentrating entirely on shooting the prophet, and relying : on the rest of the team to keep an eye out. Spartans do love that teamwork : stuff. : 2) Brute chieftans are very tough. : Suspension of disbelief, I has it. In reply to your 1.): A SPARTAN-II in MJOLNIR does not miss a 300-500+ lb., half-dead, monster of a creature making it to within 15 meters of their position "because they were concentrating." You and I must be talking about different kinds of SPARTAN-II's. In reply to your 2.): Brute chieftains can be tough all they want, but if I take a sledgehammer and get the strongest man in the world to hit that Brute in the face with it, not once, but TWICE, that Brute will not survive. Organic matter is just not composed that way. And by the way, the amount of force applied by the strongest man in the world in the year 2009 is way, way, WAY smaller than the amount of force applied by a SPARTAN-II in MJOLNIR. Just so we're clear. You know, in case there was any doubt. I also has suspension of disbelief, but just how far am I going to have to suspend it? I was looking forward to these being on the level of canon, in terms of their rules that they operate by.
