So when she died in Halo 3, we were all : "Okay." : Sure, Johnson had his moment in Contact Harvest, but that entire book was : just Pro-Brute Propaganda and WOO JOHNSON ROMANCE to me, and while I like : Brutes, as people around here know, I prefer them to be last resort : measures. : My personal explanation for them not being in Halo 1 was that the Prophets : didn't want them to destroy Halo because of how reckless they are in large : numbers. : But thats beside the point. : What was the purpose of Johnson anyway according to the Story? : If we took him out, would it have made a difference? Riceatron I have to say that your opinions are all over the place when it comes to the Halo fiction. For example, you say like Brutes over Elites and yet you state that ContactHarvesdt is Pro-Brute Propaganda? You also at seem to like Halo 3's story over Halo 2's and yet you are now criticizing the fact that the Arbiter, Johnson, and Miranda were at Earth before the Master Chief without any explanation given? Let me also point out that First Strike was released in December of 2003... 11 months before Halo 2's release. While I agree that Johnson was a porr character in Halo 3, that is not a fault of his character, but rather the poor writing.story decisions made with Halo 3's story.
