If we DO fight Elites in Reach.. people will still say "I want Halo 1/2's Elites back! These elites aren't as smart/fun/challenging/mandible-ish"

Brutes are easier to fight because once their shields are down you can blast their armor off and that armor never comes back. Those elites.. you had to quickly follow through or they were back to 100% it seemed like (if my memory doesn't fail me).

But to me, that seems like that is more of a gameplay decision rather than the attribute of a particular enemy. Bungie could have easily given, and justified, recharging shields for Brutes.

So any Elites we fight in the future might be more Brute-ish than some are hoping..
