In Response To: You call that a long review? :p (Gravemind) Stages tend to be around the half hour mark. One of them was only 20 minutes long, and another felt like I was at it for an hour. But it's generally about half an hour. Firefight on Normal difficulty kicked my butt. Hard. But that's in part because I was on my own and the third wave was hunters (fear Halo 1's fuel rod). Lost Platoon has become my favorite firefight map, I played it on Normal with my brother and we did really well. But eventually Catch skull caught up to us.... The par (200,000) is insane. Seriously Bungie? For 10g? Firefight is awesome, and I'm loving it still, now that I'm not playing it. One thing that may have not been mentioned was that after you die in firefight, you can press Y and detach the camera, letting you fly around. Now why didn't Halo 3 have that? Theatre mode is almost exactly like Halo 3's. You still cant rewind in campaign, and there seems to be a bubble around your character, as you can't explore too far beyond where he stands. But overall, can't wait to play four player Firefight, as just two players is enough for a really fun experience. (hint: one rides around in Chopper, other Automags and Splasers from a distance for a winning combo) Game is a no-brainer full purchase if you have Live, a great purchase if you don't. Just make sure you have at least one friend, those hunters are brutal when you're alone.
