The rings were caused by a Photoshop filter. I'm only a beginner with Photoshop and I was short on time so I could not go about fixing it. I was pretty satisfied with the result I already had. I'm not trying to make everything perfect in the tryings. Don't get me wrong, I'm doing my best, however, I think that the minor geometrical flaws can actually add to the traditional artistic quality of the picture. It's not meant to be a near perfect representation.
