The Director's voice was deeper, maybe a little rougher. : That was definintly the director, unless its a new character. What is odd is : that in the final scenes of Reconstruction, Washington wiped out all the : AI, etc. with an Emp. Since the director was a "robot", wouldn't : he have also been eliminated? If he survived the Emp, maybe Church and the : AI did as well? This is something they talked about in the commentary for Reconstruction on the DVD. The Director is a real person, as is the Councilor. Both of them were talking to Wash from afar, using the robot in the facility as a way of viewing him. And we already know Church survived, somewhat. He was in the Recreation trailer.
