Destroy the vermin" : Machinima.com : : Youtube : This is the first AVCOM Shorts miniseries "Emerald". Part 1 of 4. : Hope you enjoy the movie! : Director's Notes: These AVCOM "Shorts" are designed to be short and : cinematic, but with alot of content to most of it. This first one is a : pilot to show off the layout and format of how these shorts work; but : being a pilot, it does preview some of the stuff I have in mind for the : next installments. Another important aspect is that the episode summaries : aren't long, they're infact short and concise like the Halo cinematic : text. : The secondary aim of these shorts is to create a linking miniseries (hence, : the "Emerald" miniseries), but making each short standalone (For : example, High Charity) from each, so that one wouldn't haven't to watch a : previous episode to understand another episode. Some interesting things : are shown, so I hope you all enjoy it! Stay tuned for the next part, which : will have some more interesting... twists to it =D Very nice! I always nitpick about voice acting in machinamas, so... :P The shipmaster and the prophet had some appropriate voices. I was very pleased to hear them. However, in thinking back to Truth, Mercy, and Regret, it seemed like their communications had a few more pauses in them, unlike this prophet. It sounded more like the prophet here was reading from a script, whereas the Shipmaster's dialog seemed more realistic with the slight pauses -- almost too much for an Elite. Voice acting on the other elite was poopy. Nothing else to say about that... Everything else was VERY nice. An observation with the Phantom entering the ship though... it just seems like it was closing at such a high rate of speed that it would slam into the walls within the hangar. lol... Oh well. :) Can't wait to see the rest. Keep up the great work!
