In Response To: Cast Photo for Halo 3: ODST (CaptainTony) Tricia as Dare (with the Recon armor) certainly makes a lot more sense now in regards to the Game Informer article (Dec. 2008). Here's a quote from it at the very beginning (the following dialogue should also take place near the beginning of the game as well): ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "What the hell kind of armor was she wearing?" asks an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper in regards to a new female soldier who recently arrived on the ship. "I don't know," says another. "Wasn't looking at her gear." Mickey, Dutch, Romeo, and Buck are doing their best to distract themselves before the big drop. After some chiding, the squad gets their straight-laced commanding officer to give up the woman's name. "Ms. Naval Intelligence, our new boss," he scolds. "So check your mouths, find your chairs, and get set for a combat drop." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Notice the "her", "kind of armor", and "naval intelligence" references? They all fit perfectly. Dare is the ONI officer and naval captain teased about before. Here's a link to one of her conversations--this one with the heavy cruiser "SAY MY NAME". The Game Informer article also states that each character was "based on the likeness of the actor portraying them". So, I guess only time will tell if Dare's "body" is modeled after Tricia as well. *wink wink* The ODST to the far left on the Xbox E3 Stage Display (the one with a splaser on his back) also definitely fits. If you need a reminder, here's a concept art shot:
Notice the laser sitting on the ground? It cues up the level when you play as that character. There's also the Recon concept art:
Could be a female, eh? As for the order on the Cast Photo, I'd probably pick (left to right): Buck, Rookie (notice the silenced SMG), Romeo, Dutch, Dare, Mickey Hmmm....I think that's it for now. ElusiveEagle
