(Crzymnky069) It looks like this all started on April 1st in the Bungie.net Halo 3 forum. http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=31709787&postRepeater1-p=1 Call Me Zeny (Bungie account name "SeNiOr xZeBLinD") did a superb job! He started the thread by saying that Bungie employees were seen playing a game called "The Rookie's Story (Beta)" on Xbox LIVE. http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/2394/therookiealpha2.png
Call Me Zeny confirmed it was an April Fool's joke in the Bungie thread as well as other Bungie employees. His post saying it was a joke is just past halfway down the page.
