so it seems like they're going for the whole stereotypical "xenophobic human hegemony uses alien loving hero dude as scapegoat" theme.

so sheppard has to fake his own death and be a rebel.

if that's the case, weak sauce. but i'll buy it anyways because ME1 was so damn fun. also romantic plot arcs = the win. not because of hot blue-girl sex, but because it allows for... character development? yeah that's it.
