In Response To: Who else thinks the Halo 3: ODST ODST is female? (Vid Boi) its a chance to objectify someone else for a change. instead of playing this mid-30s shaved head military dude who's all muscly and badass, the standard gets reversed and i get to be an unrealistically busty and attractive female toting huge amounts of firepower and mowing down waves of enemies in an orgy of violence that would give any of the Universal Soldiers an inferiority complex. i'm just saying that with most games forcing the objectification and masculinization of men on me, it's refreshing to have a game objectify women for once. or maybe they do it all the time and i don't notice because the women aren't the main characters. and i know that this probably wouldn't be the case in a bungie game (i'm going to avoid mentioning halo wars here woops too late), but i think i'll wind up doing the obbjectification myself and thinking, man, so and so ODST chick is probably super cute underneath all that armor, maybe i'll draw some fanart of her skipping through a field of daisies and doing cute things, possibly including kittens. i love kittens. now i've gone and psyched myself up, and i fully expect the ODST to be a lady. a pretty one.
