Lots and LOTS of time... When I did it with my laptop trackpad (that's the way 99% of my dA gallery is done- I just got the wacom a few days ago) I went extremely slow and extremely zoomed in... And redrew, and redrew and redrew until it looked right... Very frustrating, but you get used to it if you're determined to draw...
