This is somewhat ironic...

In Response To: Halo 3: Recon renamed (RotaJota) I've just begun re-reading 1984 by George Orwell. Those familiar with the novel will remember that the protagonist Winston Smith held a position in the government where he would systematically change archived records, such as newspapers and magazines, to reflect the current view of his government. Even in the beginning of the novel he mentions that 1984 was only his best guess at the current year because the nation's party could always change it whenever they wished. Anyway, I just thought it was curious how Bungie is systematically going through their own archives, changing all occurrences of Halo 3: Recon and changing it to Halo 3: ODST, as well as the title screens to their trailers. Obviously this is to be expected, but are we getting closer to chanting: "War is Peace; Freedom is Slavery; Ignorance is Strength" Just me rambling I suppose. Still, it coincides a bit too well with my reading :P -SR
