And not just : that, they actually make us storyfreaks feel that the story is more than : just something for them to build the game on by making these small hidden : notes and such. : The reason i think this got a good amount of negative response is that Halo 3 : brought a whole new crowd to this universe - the multiplayer people. Sure, : they love the game and Bungie and everything, but they're not like us ;P : They don't love the game becuase Halo CE was their bed night story. : So i can see why they are disappointed, but come on guys. You've had what... : 7 new maps? It's our time now ;D Couldn't have said it better... I can't tell you how infuriated I get when I see the service record of someone who is a level 50 General and hasn't even touched the campaign. The story is WHERE IT'S AT. Epic is the right word too; there is everything, mystery, intrigue, betrayal, revenge, impossible odds, sacrifice... Though I'm nearing 30 (oh my God...), Halo is my Star Wars. I devour every bit of it's story I possibly can. And I can only hope that Frank keeps a very tight rein on things over at MGS when it comes to the Halo story and other developers putting out games in the universe. I could forgive gameplay misteps, but don't mess up my Haloverse... P1
