It's just that the way the light reflects off of the level it's very very much like the way the light reflects off of the Elite's armor in Halo 3. Also... the level has more focus on angles than curves, another thing see in the Elite's Halo 3 armor. The Flood cruiser we went into and those parts of High Charity we saw that were still covenant were very curved and circular... which is, to me at least, reminiscent of the prophets. But Assembly is just screaming Elite to me...
