You may or may not agree with the concept of premium content - information available only to those who pay for it - but posting it here, or anywhere else, is simply stealing; it's taking something IGN is selling and giving it away for free, decreasing the chances that others will choose to pay for it. This is MY board, and I make the rules here - and one of the rules is that you don't post unpaid-for intellectual property here. : thought not. Although before everyone slags me off, I realise what you said : and why you said it, and it is a fair enough request (if it says so in : your terms and conditions of membership that he can't.) As far as I could : tell from your membership details this is not covered, because he made it : pretty clear that he was quoting from you ign.com and thus being a quote, : it doesn't violate IC law. To put it less-than-politely... bullshit. If I steal the AI code for Halo, and post it to a public forum, are you telling me I can avoid violating intellectual copyright law by simply stating that I got it from Bungie? IGN wrote a review that they chose to make available only to those who pay them money. I think that's pretty silly, myself; Halo reviews are a dime-a-dozen, and this is EXACTLY the sort of article that should be on the free part of the site, in my opinion... but that was their prerogative - and you violate their rights by posting it somewhere where folks can see it without paying them for it. : veebs : - he's in a bad mood today, all posts should be taken lightly, if at all - This is a pretty serious issue - if you want to be taken lightly, post on lighter topics.
