In Response To: GO CHECK OUT XBOX.IGN.COM (Dan) : They have Halo multiplayer Part 2 up :) Hopefully, it'll be open to the public in the not-too-distant future. FWIW - I'm a little unhappy with the designation of 26 separate gametypes... 'Slayer' is deathmatch, 'Slayer Pro' is deathmatch with 25 kills needed to win (and specific weapons), 'Rockets' is deathmatch, 25 kills to win, rockets only (and no motion tracker)... and so on. All of these were available in, say, Marathon... but we didn't call them separate game types. (Some people built maps with certain weapons on them - should each of those maps constitute a 'game type'?) There ARE a number of unique gametypes... but not as many as has been suggested. Phooey. Please - to anyone with Insider access- DO NOT POST THIS ARTICLE HERE ON THIS FORUM. I'll delete it tomorrow... and probably ban you for a while, out of annoyance. Whether you believe info like this should be kept from non-paying visitors or not, it's IGN's call, not yours. Thanks. | |
