In Response To: Re: Halo Launch Party? (Matt) I hate to have to bring this up, especially since I hold all Halo fans in the highest regard. However, we all know that Denver, Colorado is basically the coolest city in the world. The Avs hold the Stanley Cup, the Broncos are...well they are better than the the Bears. And those Rockies...hey, at least they aren't in last place. Speaking of Rockies, that is something else we have, easy access to the Rocky Mountains. I don't know if that is the least bit enticing, but it is also a well known fact that the higher altitude here reduces tolerance for alcohol, so therefore you could by less alcohol and acheive the same results, therefore saving yourselves money. See how considerate I am? Anywho, I would recommend having your Launch Party in Denver (or better yet, Boulder, where I live) simply because it is a beautiful, hightech friendly area (Seagate, the company that makes the harddrives for the Xbox is up here, and I work for them). Halo deserves the best launch party ever, and I deserve to be there. Yeah, okay, that made sense, kind of. So have it in Denver. | |
