Good question - here's (part of) my list...

They write bad software:
It's often buggy.
It's alway fragile, and very dependent on your exact system setup.
They feature non-intuitive and inconsistent UI.

They kill innovation:
Despite their huge size they do almost no research (getting better recently.)
They happily take any popular 3rd party product and add it to Windows, crush the original product through shear numbers, then quit improving it.
They FUD any technology that isn't part of their business plan - Java, Open Source, QuickTime, etc.

They're bullies.
The company does little to enhance the community (yes I'm from the area.)
They are businessmen, not technologists.
The Visual C++ compiler doesn't understand variable scoping.
They became successful due to the stupidity of others rather than their own skill.

Hope some of those struck a chord.
