Yes, it's photoshopped. Rather badly in that ones case, I didn't recall it being so jaggy around the edges. =T
In order to get a nice shot with the Phantom level and plenty of room above it, I chose the one on the Covenant while it is dropping the AA Wraith on the small island en-route to the 3rd tower.
Because of the way the shots were taken, I had to delete the background from all 14 images in order to get them to blend together even reasonably. The program wanted to blend the grass and shadow, not the Phantom itself.
...And a pile of grass would also have been a little boring. =p

Naturally, all the Longswords are given the same treatment. The Side-On shot is over Snowbound for example and the Rear shot is also over Valhalla. The others are all over Installation 00 via PS.

I have no idea how to mod Halo 3, but it sure would make things easier if I could!
I'd finally be able to get a good look at a (textured) Covenant Assault Carrier!
