There really isn't much of a story there. I've always loved the elegant names of the Forerunner AI and Monitors. You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to come up with these kinds of names. I don't know if the Bungie guys have ever established a set of rules to creating AI names, but if so, I'd sure love to know what they are. :)
