I did not agree with : all of it, as opinions vary greatly from person to person, but I did : strongly agree with the bit concerning the Covenant subplot. I also wished : that the Covenant played a more prominent role in Halo 3's story. I wish : that the Arbiter got a little bit more screen time. : All in all, I love Halo 3 and I think you did a great job reviewing it. Yeah good read, very extensive.
My main problem with halo 3 though and especially with the warthog run was there was no sense of urgency. What really put the pressure on during the maw run was that you were against the clock, ok, on a clear run you had maybe between a minute and 30 seconds to spare, but if you made a mistake.... then the blood stated pumping. I mean you've just lit the fuse. Isn't it time to run, and run like stink.
Maybe if you had say gravemind chasing you or something while having to escape halo. I would of also like to see some variation in terrain through out the last sequence, the exploding panels gets a little dull. Gravemind.... Here we have the collective intelligence of the universe's most dangerous species and he sits back and does nothing, The most he does is talk through the flood at points and with a few of his tentacles try and stop the pelican from taking off after stopping truth. And a half hearted attempt when escaping high charity. To me Gravemind could of been a really powerful foe for halo 3.
