I think it'd be real tough to calculate correctly the surface area of the Ark given the curviness of its curvitude. I wonder if A.) application could be made to Bungie for such figures and B.) how did Stephen L. (or 'you' if it's Stephen L. reading this) come to his ('your') determination of the Ark's diameter based on this photo? Did he ('you') assume that the circle in the middle is exactly the diameter of a Halo ring, and if so, why? Is there a basis for that assumption that I have overlooked or forgotten? Just curious.
