(sketchfactor) : So it really comes down to what would people want more? some quick and dirty : "ports" that were 99% accurate to the originals and perhaps : available in more volume or fewer, better looking re-designed maps?... Or : just completely original maps altogether and no more throw-backs to the : old days. The "Old Days" had better maps (sorry [personal opinion]). I think Last Resort and Coagulation are prime examples of good ways to bring back maps, they are easily recognizable, but offer more than their predecessor. My only complaint with Avalanche would be that more pictures would be nice, cause (for me) it is hard to get an idea of a map. Right now it sounds like Coagulation to Valhalla, same basic principle but different map, seeing how the tunnels got axed and I would think the middle (where the bridge was) is going to be drastically different, with the giant metal piece over the valley. I still do look forward to Avalanche, and if the Last map pack and these new maps are any indication of the future, I am really going to enjoy DLC.
