In Response To: Talking price... (Hellhawk) : I don't want to spend $10 for three maps. The Halo 2 map pack cost $20 : dollars for 9 maps. That's roughly $2.22 per map. Now with these Halo 3 : maps, they round out to $3.33 a piece. That's a %133 increase in price. I : try not to think outside of school, but it nags a me, so I'm just going to : wait until they're free. That's what I'm doing with the Heroic map pack; : I'm waiting until it's free (despite how mad my friends are at me for not : getting them now.) : Maybe this foreign knowledge will come in handy for someone who's trying to : decide if it's worth buying them immediately or waiting until they're : free. Unless, of course... my math is wrong. :-P I don't think your math is wrong, but this topic was discussed to death when the Heroic map pack was released. I don't think we need to re-hash the same arguments again. If the price is worth it to you, then buy it, if it's not, then don't. Complaining won't change the way the maps are. I'm not picking on you specifically, it's just that I don't want the tons of arguments for and against paying for the new maps that happened last time. Of all the topics to discuss that just seems the most time and energy wasteful :\ -SR
