In Response To: New Hunter Painting (Onebitrocket) : An new painting of a hunter over at my Deviantart gallery if anyone's : interested : http://onebitrocket.deviantart.com/art/Hunter-77453517 : Ta From one artist to another, you understand ;) First off, if you're going for accuracy, then you'll need a few more reference images and most of the arm and body will have to be reworked...however, I assume you are not. In any case, in order to make this a bit more threatening in it's posture I believe you should rotate the body somewhat, so the head juts forward, making a more feral posture and allowing the spikes to stand rigid much like a dog's fur would when angered. This will help create a more intense mood on your picture-all the cool blues right now and non-dominant posture make it seem almost peaceful, which probably isn't what you want with a Hunter.

This is not a natural formation.
