: For those old timers like me.... : Every February, some small part of me awakens and I remember Brian. I guess : what I mean is, I choose not to forget. I never seem to remember the exact : date he left us, so about this time every year I go back and look. I guess : this year I am a bit early. To some who know me, and especially my : children, it may seem odd that a man I never met in person stays in my : memory after all these years. I go back from time to time and read his : posts, some news he was in and eventually some saved e-mails I have about : Brian. Its not much really, but enough to remind me. I am just one person : in a small town in the middle of nowhere. But, I just wanted to let : whomever reads this know, that Brian counted for something. When Brian's : life influenced another's in a positive way, he made a difference. As time : goes on, I promise never to forget him. : Wow, I can't believe it's been five years already. It seems much shorter than that when we were all wishing him well when he was in hospital. "The Autumn, she's been hit!" Maybe it's time to dig out the original Halo disc and play the opening level in his memory :) Ciarán.
