I don't know if any of you know who I am. I contribute to the Halo community through machinima and music. Last summer I was diagnosed with a form of cancer known as Hodgkin's Lymphoma. While nowhere near as critical as Brian's disease I'm going through similar chemotherapy in order to get cured. Just a few days ago, I had my final chemotherapy run and currently am awaiting the final word of my recovery. Reading this story about Brian today has reminded me of how lucky I am to be part of this great community. It's truly inspiring to see how people with something as simple as a game in common can care about eachother so much. Unfortunately I was not aware of Brian's state when he was in most need of support, and regret not being able to tell him how much I understand the hardships he has gone through. I'm not much of a writer but I hope these words, will at least provide some meaning for some of you out there; Amusement and competitiveness aside this is why I love Halo, because of you the community. From another Halo player, fighting a similar war. My thoughts go out to Brian and everyone else affected by these unfortunate diseases.
