You should play it to see for yourself, instead of cataloging the comments others make about it. Don't rely on what you hear about any game in the FF series, because it inspires blind love and blind hatred on either side of the fence. IMO, FFXII is an extremely well crafted game that stands tall over the vast majority of other video games released in recent years, but I don't know if I'd put in on an All Time Top 10 list.
