In Response To: Most Epic "omfg1v1LockoutMLGfoo" Match Ever UPDATED (KP) : I believe we've just begun to scratch the surface of alternately controlled : Halo matches. I'd love to see future matches featuring dance pad vs. : guitar, wheel and pedals vs. flight stick, etc. If there's any community : with the dedication - and seemingly endless supply of free time - to : explore such a nonsensical concept, it is the Bungie community. I'm hoping to get a Wii but they're difficult to find in the shops in the UK. I was interested in some of the stuff people were doing with the WiiMote and Nunchuk using apps like GlovePIE allowing use of the WiiMote on a PC. As I knew I'd want a second controller when I get a Wii I got a WiiMote and Nunchuk along with a Bluetooth dongle. Using GlovePIE and PPJoy, a parallel port virtual joystick, I made a simple script for GlovePIE so I could control HaloPC with a WiiMote and Nunchuk. As I don't have a sensor bar I couldn't use the IR tracking of the WiiMote but the script uses all the buttons and Nunchuk stick in place of a mouse. No matter how you configure it though it's just too awkward. Maybe with the IR it might be easier. If you're into Half-Life 2 a really interesting app is in development using the IR. The crosshair isn't fixed and in the videos it looks more like Red Steel. I'd love to see something like this for Halo or Halo2. I don't know if the HEK or the Halo2 tools allow for something similar to be made. If you have all the stuff a beta version can be downloaded. http://wii.hl2world.com/
