: To the creator I say, keep up the good work, and I'd love to play this game
Hah, I was in the middle of replying to his post saying almost exactly what you said about the program and my statement about "on SNES"! I'm glad I rechecked the board. Thanks Mathijs Buster and everyone else for the great feedback. Makes me proud of all those lonely nights after school screaming my head off at invincible grunts and strange flashing lights that came from nowhere... To Rox:
The color pallette of a game is actually chosen by the game maker, not the system (a system may have cap on a limit of colors though). I have seen some people rip all the data from SNES games like FF5 and 6 and reorganize them into this program and they look pretty close! I welcomed your criticism, until you told me I wasn't a pixel artist and didn't worry about the art. I have no idea how you recieved the gift to declare who is an artist and what is correct art, but such comments are foolish and are irrelevant to constructive criticism. Just because something does not subscribe to your view of art, doesn't mean it is not art. Just because something has incorrect perspectives does not mean it is bad art (last time I checked, Picasso is still usually regarded as an artist).
