In Response To: D is for Dead (Ibeechu) : Hola, mis amigos. Over the last week or so, I've been working on my first : machinema. I finished a few days ago, but it took a long time to figure : out how to export properly. Anyway, long story short, it's finally here : for all to see! : "D is for Dead" was created in a conversation between Spartan Jag : and I. I had the crazy idea to make a machinema that parodies sub-par : machinema. It's a tongue in cheek satire of modern mediocre machinema. : Basically, I wanted to see how bad of a movie I could create, while still : looking like it was made by someone who actually thought they were making : a good movie. Of course, I am not actually claiming to be a better : filmmaker than most machinema makers, I'm just making an observation, and : using that as a basis for a movie. [/disclaimer] : It has everything a bad movie should have, including, but not limited to: : Bad writing Poor voice acting and quality Dialogue so full of cheese : that Stunt's head would spin 360 degrees on all axises : "Nooooooo!" Cliches Anticlimax There's even a deus ex : machina! : Well, enough of my talking, let's get to the movie! (By the way, this is : being hosted on my server for now. I have a lot of bandwidth left, but : please only download it once, thx! Oh, also, it's only in WMV for now. : MPEG was too big of a file size, and Ulead makes huuuuge Quicktime files. : Sorry :) The file is about 41 megs, and lasts for around 12 minutes. : D is for Dead : Enjoy!
