Thanks, I already know about the mount points and all that, but here's the problem: The kid who asked for my help (System Link) for capping cool footage for his video is in MLG, and is a non modder.
Yes, as hard as it is to believe, it messes up SL something awful (read: freeze/screen/lag/engine drag). I tried a similar experiment a long time ago using my two Xboxes on local LAN.

Changing the tags is host dependent for SLC. Since he had to be host for me to run the devcam (to get it to do what I had to do), there was no way for me to send a PPF file (he wouldnt have known what to do with it anyways) so this was about the best I could do under the circumstances.

I thought about working on the perspective a little more by tag/toggle mods in the various progs (DH/ADI/etc) but to be honest, I kind of liked the chasecam effect: you get to see more of the cabin than with a fixed mount..Besides I had a lot of other stuff to do at the time (I was in the middle of getting footage for the MLG kid, remember).

Anyways, thats cool, but if you can find a way to allow off host map modifications w/o breaking SLC, then let me know.
