Sorry for the late reply. Don't know if you'll come across this post, but...

Actually, the Carbine is intrinsically less accurate than the BR, with a much greater shot spread. Try shooting at a wall from about 50 to 100 feet away (Beaver Creek is good, since bullet holes show up great on the bases). You'll notice that the BR will hit the same spot over and over, while the Carbine is all over the place. Of course, this applies only to a stationary (absolutely or relatively) target. Lots of lateral or vertical movement can send BR rounds flying all over the place as well.

I agree about the fact that the Carbine's semi-auto fire doesn't allow for sweeping like the BR's burst fire, but I don't know about the Carbine having less auto-aim. I remember testing them, and they seemed to have the same degree of AA. I'll have to go back and retest it to make sure, though.
