It starts with the 1up guys bemoaning the leaks from Europe, and how Europe always leak. The cool part of the leaks, is that since 1up doesn't have the exclusive anymore, they are now going to be going into a REDICULOUS level of detail. They then mention the graphics. They mention that it looks like Halo, and it's really sharp, but it's still really early. Once your in, it's just Halo, and it's great. That starts a discussion of some of the game features, most notably, the energy shields, which perform like the personal shields in Dune, only slow moving things pass through. I couln't tell if nades go through. The descriptions of the faceoffs around these shields sound fuggin great. The section finishes with a classic oddball story, of using those shileds to make a daring escape. The coolest part of it was the obvious excitement and fun they had. 1up's shows and podcasts don't BS you on whether or not it's good, and these guys obviously had a great time with it. I can't wait till their full coverage starts on monday. Char
