Well, that picture isn't the best for crotching judgement. The costume did have a large open space there, but that's for the sake of function (I wouldnt have been able to bend my legs otherwise :D So if there was a fire, I would have died [After the HEV shield went down at least])

Besides, what's wrong with protecting my kiddies?
