Fancy playing 'Shark'? It's an evil new game I've been amusing myself with in AOTCR, at the expense of the Covenant. Here's the basic idea.
Leave enemies intact at the first bridge, and return later in a Banshee. If you fly along it underneath with the roof of the Banshee rubbing against the bottom deck, the camera ends up being just above the deck, which gives you a novel and spectacular floor-level view as you cruise along. But the real fun lies in making enemies dive off by aiming yourself just to one side of them. This reminds me of "Jaws" (cue creepy shark music), but with a Banshee as the shark, just under the surface. Once your victim is diving off, you can turn to watch him plummet; and maybe free-fall with him to dish out some further hurt! Hilarious.
For the whole account, including advice on how best to get a convenient checkpoint so you can repeat your shark runs with minimal delay, see Playing 'Shark' at the first bridge, the latest bit of fun at Bad Cyborg. It was something I came across when having fun with the recent mob battle business (and if you still haven't tried that, I urge you to give it a go, on account of all the fantastic combat it can give).
